Ribeyro

A quinta in Miraflores, a story, a bar.

Ribeyro is a small bar by chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, set discreetly in Miraflores, in La Quinta, where the house of writer Julio Ramón Ribeyro still stands. Its atmosphere plays with chiaroscuro: warm light, deep shadow and a quiet literary air. The identity was born from a single text by Ribeyro, one of Peru's most beloved writers: his story Tristes querellas en la vieja quinta. It takes place in an old quinta in Miraflores, where the daily life of its inhabitants is disturbed by squabbles born of loneliness. Strange presences move through the story, and in the end it is companionship and friendship that prevail.
